Hi, I'm Mikaela Greathouse.

I am THRILLED to work with you! I believe documenting life's milestones isn't just about cute posing and lighting, it's about creating real moments of connection and bringing out the best in you so that all you have to worry about is which photos to print and post afterwards!

If you don't mind being outdoors, love a true to color and timeless edit, and want natural looking photos that capture your personality, I am the photographer for you! I have a passion for documenting fun and authentic emotions and believe in giving you clear direction and constant support not just during our shoot, but from the moment you book me. With my husband as my second shooter, we can show you exactly what to do! I want you to have beautiful pictures, but more than that, I want you to have fun taking them!

Book a session with me and let's make some memories together!

Q&A

How long have you and your husband been together?

Hunter and I actually met freshman year of high school and dated for about a year before going our separate ways. We found our way back after undergrad, dated for 2 years, and just got married in 2023!

What do you shoot with?

I shoot with a Canon R6 camera body and a variety of lenses, my favorite of which is the RF 28-70mm because it gives me true colors and creamy backgrounds!

What do you do outside of photography?

My "day job" is actually working as a therapist, and for fun I enjoy volleyball, playing the piano, and any outdoor adventure from hiking to paddleboarding and rock climbing!

What's your favorite part about being a photographer?

I love seeing people in love, getting to know their story, and helping to document it for them. Moments may be fleeting, but photography helps you capture them forever!
